I started my working life as a film maker. Then I began to feel useless and became a scientist instead. I love my new job but I can't give up cameras completely. Now I have accumulated so many photos that they're quite squashed in their digital box - so please click on them for instant liberation. If you want to know what cameras I use you have to click to see the complete profile.

Very nice effect, looks 3D...
On the way to Big Sur ? Another landscape redolent of myth.
That's not your average beach! Nice capture of those fantastical stacks and cliffs!
I like this shot a lot. It's interesting how dark some of the rocks are and how light others are. I think that stands out so well in monochrome.
Love the fog, the waves, the rocks. It feels very refreshing in my imagination.
There is magic along the coast highway, and you've captured it well.
Perfect scenery in B&W. Each element detachs itself from the other. Light and weather are also exactely what you needed for a wonderful picture.
I live by an average beach this this has so much more atmosphere.
Great photo of a beautiful beach.
I love beaches! Great shot here. I feel refreshed.
The contrasts and shadows are perfect
Oh...that's lovely. I'm so used to seeing the California coastline in color, but it's just as spectacular in mono! Hi from sunny Cal...
This is wonderful - virtual 3D! Love it.
Ya..and this is unique too! I like this shot-
Highway 1 both southward and northward is so picturesque, it's one of my fave places to drive.

Lovely shot! Looks a bit windy, and the black and white reinforce it. Like it!
this is cool in black and white.
I just want to swim out there and find out what, if anything, is hangin' out on those rocks!
