Most of the times I'm rather depressed by dirty mugs - so, when I saw this I couldn't help documenting it, even though it's aesthetic value might be of doubt:
I was surprised to find this ghostly imprint of the cutlery that's hidden in the murky depth of the coffee mug :)
More surprises at the PhotoHunt over at TNchick's.
Cool photo! I wonder if I could use it as an excuse not to do dishes for a while so I can 'research' what materials leave distinct impressions like that....hmmm
I started my working life as a film maker. Then I began to feel useless and became a scientist instead. I love my new job but I can't give up cameras completely. Now I have accumulated so many photos that they're quite squashed in their digital box - so please click on them for instant liberation. If you want to know what cameras I use you have to click to see the complete profile.

That's amazing to have such a clear image of the fork. Wow! It's never a surprise to find dirty dishes at my house.

oh i'm surprised too and very intriguing on how it formed that way.
happy weekend. mine is up too
It's amazing what will happen when you add water! Even if it was a dirty mug, it certainly was worth capturing the ghost fork!
Yes, that Fork Ghost is quite a surprise! I hate dirty dishes, also.
My Photo Hunters is up! I hope you can come visit my Surprise! New York Traveler.net
kind of a disgusting surprise, but a very interesting photo
That is amazing!
(I'll be scrutinizing all my dirty dishes now - of which there are many!!)

I agree. Kind of yucky, but pretty interesting.
