summer disasters

Here is one that every dedicated icecream afficionado dreads: the slipped scoop. I'm glad to say that this one wasn't mine. I found it melting and lonely on a parking lot, and I still feel for the poor person who lost it. I hope they got a replacement.

Head over to Robin's Summer Stock Sunday for happier summer scenes.

Since you did not mention crying one can assume an adult dropped this but I have been known to cry when I drop my ice cream:)

I hope it was in fact a kid - they generally give them a new scoop for free :). Adults are out of luck though.

Oh, the agony! I would recognise a Cornetto from 40 paces! I don't have many ice cream cornets - maybe 2 a year - but when I commit I want to enjoy every last bit! I once dislodged a scoop whilst licking, caught it as it fell and put it back on top of the cone.
