Raindrops...

Have a look at last week's Mother of All Downpours - it hit me as I was alerting my neighbour to the fact that her key was still stuck in the lock from when she opened her door. We chatted for 1 minute and I got drenched to the bone.

Wonderful shot!

I also love watching rain falling in puddles, when you get the little rings forming.

I like rain pictures - some people think they are sad - I think they are beautiful - I like the rain and don't mind getting soaked like that wood on your picture :). Great splash! Looks like a crown!

I like the way you captured the water droplets hanging on.

This is a neat photo-splash, drip, wet! That, and the grain of the wood, too!

spectacular, we had a soaking rain last week, but they are rare in our parts. So we did what one does when something rare happens. We went out and danced in the rain :)

:) And then got even wetter photographing the rain! I love this photograph - I've never been very successful at photographing raindrops - they always seem to go straight to ground without much of a splash.

I think it is mushroom season again - they're popping up everywhere, the little white edible ones and all. I love mushroom season.

This photograph seems to be a complete summary of England in summer in one image.

It's the kind of picture which can only happen either by a lucky shot or with hours of patient waiting and many rejected frames.

Even the soaked wood where a bit of the bench has broken away is familiar - and a story.

This is a wonderful image of your rainy day, it says it all. My key has been getting stuck in my lock. I have to buy a new lock!

Great shot, Bim! The rain splatters are perfect. I got drenched putting my camera back in the bag yesterday.

I came back to say, that the raspberries went into the cake with the blueberries :) and raspberries were measured because it's unusually find so big wild raspberries here. My daughter picked them from her own "Secret Place" ... earlier in the summer she picked wild strawberries there...
