happy fish in happy water

A brown trout hanging out in the amazingly clear water of the River Coln by Bibury.

It hurt to see, though, that despite the beauty of the water some plastic garbage had found it's way into the river - who knows how. I didn't take a photo of it -

Happy Watery Wednesday to you all! Back to 2SweetnSaxy, or if you want to think a bit more about plastic and water visit a site about the big plastic vortex in the Pacific.

My goodness, one can not see the water... it looks like it's swimming in seagrass.

A beautiful shot!
The water is amazingly clear. Here's hoping the plastic you saw is all that you'll see.

My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.

I do hope the fish stays happily uncaught for a few years yet.

What beautifully clear water! It feels as if one is actually there in the river and swimming with the fish!

It's rare to see fish that clearly - I wonder if it realises how priveleged it is?

I love rock pooling too :) - I spotted some nice anemones and few wee shrimpy things on Tuesday, but it is hermit crabs I'm most fond of, and there were none of those.
