There was nothing exciting going on in the Oxfordshire sky last week. For all I know there wasn't even a good moment to watch the Perseids due to blanket cloud cover at night. So - it's back to the archives: a series of a gull being scenic on a bucket in the sky.
Looking forward to perhaps some Perseids photos at
Skywatch Friday!

All perches are the same to a gull - even if they are very odd ones :)
Great shots - lovely blue sky.
I keep forgetting to look skyward when dark - will have to have a look tonight!
VERY loud round of applause from me - just my kind of pictures!!
Applause from me too!!
Awesome shots!
Have a great weekend
That's a great little series! By the way, just saw your capture of the heavy rain below this post and it's a fantastic shot!
Janice.
I love your shots! So far I have not seen Perseids yet. I wanted to watch but couldn't get up that early (PST)!
When I was younger and living in the midlands we never saw gulls, only coastal. How times have changed. Something really comical about this whole storyboard.
LOVE these photos. Yes, you made me smile. ;-)
Beautiful blue skies and shots.
Great shots and fun photos at the same time!
That bucket makes me wondering! Is that a paint - or is that stuff from the birds :) The gull is beautiful - but the bucket on a stick - priceless :)
Fun capture. Lovely set for this week's Skywatch.
I like the sequence of these shots. What a gorgeous blue sky!
