Super and dramatic photo. I love it. I wonder what the color version looked like . . . ? The ball chucker below is so cute. What a great invention for people who own fetch-doggies.
I started my working life as a film maker. Then I began to feel useless and became a scientist instead. I love my new job but I can't give up cameras completely. Now I have accumulated so many photos that they're quite squashed in their digital box - so please click on them for instant liberation. If you want to know what cameras I use you have to click to see the complete profile.

Beautiful sun rays!
Eclipsed by a cloud.
Dramatic sky!!
Finally remembered the word - crepuscular! The litte cloud looks like an upside-down seahorse.
I think this is an excellent black and white shot.
Wonderfully atmospheric, it reminds me of medieval and renaissance religious paintings.
A beautiful ray of light....
well captured.
Very dramatic and very beautiful.
That is a dramatic looking sky. Looking forward to a long overdue return to France myself, without the sky this month.
The sun through the sky is really effectful and make this a beautiful b&w image.
Lovely, and rather awe-inspiring, sky. Wonderful photo.
I was recently told, as I snapped a similar shot, this sort of break in the clouds is called God's Eye
Ohh...I LOVE it.
Very nicely captured. It looks like one of those skies used in paintings of god looking down at earth.
Dramatic indeed!
Gorgeous B&W sky....
Such an incredible image! Black and white make things look so magical.
