summery forests

Around this time of year the light green dapple of young forest leaves has been replaced by some proper deep green shade. I love it, especially on long walks in sunny weather - it feels like summer has really arrived:

I'm still on holiday, so please forgive if I can't pay you a return visit just yet. Meanwhile back to Robin's Summer Stock Sunday for your dose of summery sights.

Nice shade in the forest - could use some here - it is 92 degrees whole week long. Have nice vacation!

Absolutely beautiful. I guess you used the "portrait" setting on your camera? You inspire me to get outside and try some new shots. Thanks. Hope you are enjoying your holidays.

That is a great picture! I love the crisp detail of the branches against the more blurry distance. The green is lovely, too!

Love this photo - so serene!

(One of the leaves looks like a little fish swimming into the green - can you see which one I mean?)
