attention seekers ?

Ever since I stopped needing to use grasses as makeshift strings for little twigs (and the like) at the age of - say - eleven or twelve, this ubiquitous plant didn't really get much time from me. Until I suddenly started to develop hayfever some years ago. Do grasses just give us allergies to attract attention?
Here are the evil culprits:

A very beautiful photo. If they are evil and cause allergies I will just take a little more antihistime to enjoy something so pretty.

Have a wonderful day,

Hachoo! It is beautiful, even if it makes you sneeze.

Grapefruit seed extract may help allergies. My father uses it. Good luck.

And thanks for visiting 2 posts on my blog. ;-)

Sorry about the allergies but I love this picture. I have a couple of grassy photos myself this week. They do show a certain beauty. Your photo is wonderful. Thank you for sharing and have a great week.

Don't talk to me of hay fever and allergies! I feel a sniffle and a sneeze coming on just looking at these grass seedheads.
They do look pretty ....... from a distance.

Ah the culprit! But you took it so beautifully, and looks could be deceiving. Have a nice week!

Enjoyed this photo, Bim - reminds me of how, when I used to get hayfever, Durer's painting of a yard of turf was so real-looking it used to set me off sneezing!

I too suffer from allergies... dang! Still, I think grasses are graceful and beautiful. ;-)

Very pretty - sorry about your hay fever, though - it's a pest.

Hay-fever or not they look very graceful. One could almost pretend they're trees!

Hah - grasses are awkward things - make me itchy and an absolute nightmare to identify from a key. The ones in your picture look very nice though :)

I love the grasses, as children we used to play hens and chickens.
