Times Square

The country bumpkin was in NYC the other day. I bought myself a new wide angle lens at the B&H Superstore. It was a dreary, drizzly day but I couldn't resist taking some sample shots. And then, because they were so gray, I couldn't resist subjecting them to the extreme hdr treatment:

I like this treatment; it looks hand-drawn and colored. Not at all what I expect from a photo!

Wow - looks like it could turn into a scene from 'Heroes'!

A perfect shot and look for NYC. I love it!

@Dimple - yes, I like that, too. I didn't expect I would, though :)

@Phoenix: I of course had no clue what 'Heroes' was. Thanks for nudging me towards the 21st century!

@Elizabeth: It was only my 2d visit to NYC, I have yet to get a feeling for it. It feels strangely generic...but maybe that's what it is.

A little bit like zombies, all coming towards you :)

@ Kitty: :-))) In their defence - it was a rainy, miserable day.

Stunning! Amazing and great. Still learning, so maybe in the future I manage.
