lunch hour

A New York builder takes a break from his work at Ground Zero. I think his hard hat looks quite fetching on his neighbour, a banker type in bronze. Yes, the pidgeon seems to know that the banker is about to get his sandwich pack out -

I really am taken by the pigeon and the metal man looking for crumbs in his case to feed the bird.

Yes, the pigeon adds the finishing touch so natural....

This is so good! I love the irreverence in it. I wonder if the pigeon comes back to the statue every lunch time, just in case...

Oh wow! I love this - a clever juxtaposition. Don't think many 'bankers' would be seen dead eating sandwiches packed in a briefcase . . . lol!!

Oh, this one was really nice! It love trying to shoot situations like this; but I so rarely see them. (Maybe I'm just blind to them... one has to pay attention to notice)

Why you can't give up camera completely because you spot images like this. Excellent observation and perfect for mono.
