Overgrown

I found these pretty Lilies in an overgrown meadow in College - a few days later the lawn was cut, and so were they :(

Visit Today's Flowers hosted by Luiz, Denise, Laerte and Valkyrien and enjoy blossoms from all over the world.

It reminds me of the Tuft of Flowers by Robert Frost - except not. A beautiful picture and may they grow again next year!

I love this shot! Love how the delicate lilyies stand out in the image. So delicat and tender, and yet so many colors in the background. How can anyone cut down something so lovely! :(

A very beautiful photo, it does almost look like a painting.

I hope they'll come back when the grass has a chance to grow. Beautiful shot, so nicely composed at ground level. Thanks for sharing.

How can anyone be so crass! I have trained even the Prof to mow around the Bluebells and clumps of Marguerites, Belladonnas and even a few Watsonias.
A beautiful shot even though its life was cut short.

Thought I would comment and say neat theme, did you make it for yourself? It's really awesome!
