It's called 'Monk's Walk' and I used to adore it - but now they've sandblasted it, and it looks better to me in b&w.

Mono suits though I guess they have removed the age-old patina.
Good to see you back.
i like this shot n the curves. i wont b surprised if Aileni highlights this shot next week :)
Excellent arches and vaults. I love ancient buildings!
I think you should do it much more often. It lent itself very well for this. A photo it would have been fun to play around with.
Oh, such fabulous arches...wonderful! I love old buildings where one can feel the history.
It is like taken from a movie about ancient times. They probably shot a movie or two at this location. So fascinating!
This is great bim, love the structures and looks really great in b/w.
You are god!!! and I have a lot to learn... :-(

What a place! I would have loved walking there too.
Like your shot, the structures and the shadows. Great!
It does look a bit too neat and clean now, but it still makes for a very striking shot.
I love the picture. Wonderful arches.
It is lovely for a mono image, I agree, They have cleaned it too much...
What a great b/w shot! Beautiful arches.
